Yagotin volost

1908 (7 July) picture postcard originating from a village in Yagotin volost to a village of Skoptcy, Pereyaslav province of the Poltava government, with "Yagotinskaya Zemskaya Pochta" postmark, with Imperial franking of 1k and 2k paying the required 3k rate from Piryatin (9 July), fine, one of only two recorded examples. With opening of state post office in Yagotin in 1908, the Zemstvo post was limited to the volost area.
